Nice comfy bed, rooms nice but need a little bit of tlc. Breakfast nice but cold.
Sunday dinner disappointing. Roast beef was too rare, had to send back and meat was re-cooked, ? Microwaved. Unable to chew. I don't believe anything on the plate was homemade. Was offered free dessert, however, declined. Staff were polite and restaurant was lovely and comfortable.
The waitresses were friendly and helpful. There was a lovely real fire. The food was delicious. The triple cooked Chris were amazing. The stuffed chicken breast was excellent don't be put off by the fact it sits in broth, it really works. The only reason for the 4 stars is that we had to wait a long time for the food. However it was worth the wait
Just had a two course meal off the Christmas menu, it was delicious. Service was excellent, staff couldn't do enough for you. Would really recommend it.
Friendly and efficient service. Beef and wine pie tasty and filling. Gourmet burger tasty but not so filling. Same dish 2 years ago seemed better value.
