This bus stop is used as transport for Laurence Jackson pupils who are wanting to go to either Skelton, Brotton or Loftus, and I would recommend not using this service between 3:00 and 3:40pm due to congestion on the buses. This shouldn't be a problem though because buses come every 15 minutes! Moor buses also travel through this stop giving you direct access to some of the most rural of places. This shelter is also a great help to the estate of Monkton Rise as people don't have to walk into the Market Place to board their mode of transportation. In my past experiences, it is cheaper to travel from 'Laurence Jackson School' than it is from 'Guisborough Police Station' even though it is just a 2 minute walk away!
